John V. was born on January 15th, 1929. John V.'s father was Wikter (Victor) Granberg and his mother was Margaret Olivia Hogue. His paternal grandfather is Granberg; his maternal grandparents were Lauritz Johnson (Louis) Hogue and Allette Jorgina Egge. He had five sisters named Elvera (VERA), Helen , Vivian, Marion and Lillian. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 62 on August 6th, 1991. He was buried in Oakland Hills Cemetery, Novi, Michigan.
